WELCOME!

This blog is designed to be an information center for occupational therapists in the northeast Tennessee region looking for ways to further their OT skills and knowledge and to enhance the occupational focus of their practice.

We hope to offer opportunities for OTs to share ideas and projects, brainstorm with one another and to provide affordable and useful continuing education.

 

Other things we hope to offer include:

• Regular interviews with OTs doing interesting things in the area
• A resource center for access to assessments, equipment and books 
• Workshops and continuing education opportunities taught by one another
• A variety of options for earning PDUs and CEUs for NBCOT and state licensing 
• Calendar of events and activities that may be of interest to OTs 
• Opportunities to encourage and assist occupational therapy students  
• A speaker’s bureau for you to offer your services as a speaker on various topics 
• Opportunities to complete projects at your site or program with help of OT students 
• Volunteer opportunities in the community where we can meet needs and promote OT
